ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

ABOUT

The Electrical Engineering Department was established in the year 2012, the year of the establishment of the college. Programs are regularly updated to cope with the ever-changing technology and demands of the industry. Our goal is to provide the requisite platform to budding engineers and technocrats to sharpen their reasoning, analytical and communication skills along with requisite technical knowledge so that they can meet with confidence the future challenges of growing technology. The four year program leading to a B. Tech degree builds strong foundations in all traditional areas of Electrical Engineering.

VISION

To be acknowledged as a centre of excellence for originating an effective and socially responsible Electrical Engineer to serve the challenges of the society, environment and industry using trending and innovative technologies.

MISSION

The mission of the Mechanical Engineering Department is:

M1 - To enhance continuous education quality for accomplishing better research and learning process.
M2 - To establish bridge between industry/companies and students organize various skill improvement training and workshops.
M3 - To establish an effective connectivity among students, alumni, faculty, industries, stockholders and academician of another reputed institute
M4 - To provide an intergraded environment under which students can improve their creativity, teamwork, entrepreneurial and such other skills.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO's)

PEO-1:

Knowledge in Electrical Engineering: To provide knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering and applied Science for improving the necessary skills to analyze and synthesize the problems in the generation, transmission, and distribution.

PEO-2:

Research and industrial awareness: To provide electrical engineering-based competent knowledge, ideas, and skill to comprehend, identify, and solve complex real-time tasks in industry and motivate the students to become future scientists/researchers with innovative ideas.

PEO-3:

Professional ethics and successful employment: To prepare the students for successful employment with professional competence in various Government organizations, Industrial, and both at the National and International levels. To provide ethical administrative acumen to handle critical situations and meet deadlines.

PEO-4:

Being a societal and leader professional: To explore the students’ knowledge in technical communication and basic human skills so that they become leaders, good team members, and responsible citizens.

Programme Specific Outcome (PSO)

PSO-1:

To Utilizing the capacity and capability of the department to imbibe knowledge of electrical networks, power systems, electrical machines, power electronics and control to the under graduates and enable them of understanding of different software tools such as MATLAB and PSPICE.

PSO-2:

Enabling students to differentiate different problem and identify proper solution for them. Involving students in teaching- learning process is one of our concerns.

PSO-3:

Acquaintance of social and environmental awareness with ethical responsibilities to have a successful career in real-world applications by keeping abreast of the technological changes.

Program Outcomes (PO)
